about

Scottish and South Asian infused vibrant live score from the show, When Mountains Meet, which follows the true story of one woman’s travels in search of family and connection.

“My mother is Scottish. My father was Pakistani. In my early 20s I found the father I’d never met….but as a musician and an ‘illegitimate child’, I was taboo in a culture to which I longed to belong.”

A band of musicians and singers from Scotland, Pakistan, England and India set forth on an unforgettable voyage from the Scottish Highlands to the Himalayas.
